Oasis Privacy Policy
Oasis is an ambient sound app published by CoreTech ("we", "us"). We built Oasis so you can relax without being tracked. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account.
- We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or any other personal data.
- There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking in Oasis.
- Your settings stay on your device.
- Payments are handled by Apple; subscriptions are verified through RevenueCat.
Information stored on your device
To remember your preferences, Oasis saves a few settings locally on your iPhone: sound volumes, favorite presets, your bedtime reminder time, the goal you picked during onboarding and whether you have completed onboarding. This information never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Notifications
If you turn on the bedtime reminder, the reminder is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. We do not run a notification server and do not receive any information about your reminders.
Purchases and subscriptions
Oasis Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. Apple processes all payments; we never see your payment details. To check whether your subscription is active, Oasis uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous identifier generated by the app together with your App Store purchase and transaction information, the app version and basic device information (such as the iOS version and region). This identifier is not linked to your name or Apple ID by us. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy and Apple's at apple.com/legal/privacy.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
Children
Oasis is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Health information
Oasis provides relaxation and focus sounds. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. We do not collect any health information.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings. If you would like the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat to be deleted, contact us and we will process the request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Oasis handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
